This past Tuesday, on March 14th, some of our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents were able to go to the lovely Cranbrook Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills.
We had a blast checking out the sleek, modern furniture, in the “Twentieth Century Period Rooms” exhibit, as well as beautiful, handcrafted tea sets by a local pottery artist. But, by far our most favorite part was visiting “The Truth Booth.” We were able to hear moving words of how others in the community define truth, on a 60-foot-wide video screen at the museum. We also got to write on helium balloons how we would finish the statement, “The Truth Is…”
Overall, it was a very engaging and intriguing experience and we hope to do again soon!!!
